Just returned from the 111^th Annual ASM Conference in New Orleans, LA where thousands of microbiologists gathered to learn the latest industry updates. Over 7,000 people were in attendance and the buzz around the conference circled around pCR analysis. We are hearing more buzz from the EPA on possible regulations involving pCR and I wonder if anyone is currently using this technique in their lab? Let us know if your lab is looking into what appears to a possible trend for more detailed microbial analysis.
