All ProWeigh filters are prepared according to Standard Methods requirements. 47mm binderless glass fiber filters are weighed, washed 3 times in deionized water, dried at 105C and weighed to 0.1mg. Filters come packaged in a labeled aluminum pan with the weight of the filter printed on the label. DoubleWeigh filters are quality-tested to guarantee their weight stability. They are redried and reweighed to ensure a stable weight. In addition, the filter weight and ID number are printed in code 128 bar coding.

This filter is a 1.5 um, binderless glass fiber filter. It is specific to the Total Suspended Solids analysis but does have other applications.
Do you provide the initial and confimation (final) weights of the TSS/VSS filters?
This documentation is not provided with the filters. The weight on the pan is the original weight of the filter and the secondary weight must be within +/- 0.0004g of the originial weight or the filter is rejected.
