The FlipMate 100 System is designed for SC490 cup filtration.
   - Bring the sample to volume
   - Thread the FlipMate 100 Assembly onto the cup containing the sample and tighten
   - Thread an additional SC490 cup onto the FliMate 100. Tighten securely
   - Invert entrie assembly, attach vacuum source and apply

In a few seconds the sample will be drawn through the filter assembly into the empty cup. Your filtered sample can then be capped for storage.

what is the filter um

This is a 0.45 micron PES filter material.

hi! Are the assemblies in the filtermate & flipmate disposable or can I reload them with new filters?

The FilterMates are designed to be single use. Once they are pushed down into the sample container, it is very difficult to remove them again. They do not come apart for changing out the filter. The FilpMates are also designed for a single use. However, the housing assembly does come apart and the filter can be removed to allow for analysis of the filter. If you wish to clean the housing and replace the filter, it would be possible to reuse the apparatus. We do not know if the two halves of the unit would maintain an adequate seal with repeated disassembly and reassembly.
