Extraction Bottles and Pads
Question/Answer
Are the pads for the top and bottom end of the bottle or just the base?
This item is a set of pads to fit on both ends of the bottle.
We need specifications for this bottle. Is this bottle specifically for TCLP samples, and it can be re-used andd for how long?
The bottle is designed for the needs of TCLP extraction. However, it can be used for any other purposes as long as it meets your needs. I do know that some people use them for compositing samples consisting of multiple grabs. It is designed to withstand multiple uses of 18 hours of tumbling inside a rotator, so it should be able hold up to normal use for a long time. The bottle is constructed of polyethylene. It measures 15 cm wide by 24 cm high and can hold 3000 mL.
WHAT TEMEPTURE AND THIS VESSEL STAND
The bottle is borosilicate glass and can withstand an excess of 800 C before softening. The cap is teflon lined HDPE and is only safe up to around 110 C for continuous usage.
Do you sell the Teflon-liners for part BP2000-1 or the vented liners that allow pressure to escape? I cannot find these part numbers on the site.
We only sell the bottle, which is safety coated, and the cap, which is Teflon-lined.
