Question/Answer

How much pressure is required to fill the zhe with fluid and move the piston as required?

The required pressure can vary but does not exceed 50 psi.

What is the part number and price for the pressure guage on the ZHE extractor

Referring to page 2 of the ZHE+ Operating Instructions Manual, the part # for the Pressure Gauge, 0-60 psi, is ZSPPG12-1. The replacement parts are also located under the ZHE+ Parts and Accessories link which is in the TCLP category.

What is the approximate weight of the fully assembled ZHE extractor?

The ZHE weighs approximately 18 pounds.

How do you put a measured amt of fluid into a ZHE against the pressure it takes to move the piston (up to 50 psig)?

I presume you are referencing adding the extraction fluid to the ZHE. The method specifies use of a fluid metering pump to regulate the volume added and provide the necessary pressure to add the fluid to the device. Environmental Express offers fluid metering pumps that will fit on our ZHE devices. Please see the available options at I presume you are referencing adding the extraction fluid to the ZHE. Do you have a picture of the ZHE apparatus? Is the footprint such that it will fit inside the rotator box?

There is a picture of the ZHE in the brochure linked on the product page. It is designed to fit inside the rotator box. For best fit you will need to use item L#1603 to cushion the top and bottom of the extractor so the gauges and connectors do not get damaged.

Do you sell a compressor that could be used to preasurise this unit?

Item G3050 is able to supply pressure up to 60 psi. It does not come with any kind of tubing or fittings to make the connection to the ZHE. Our recommendation is to use a nitrogen cylinder to provide the pressure. The flow regulators on them are generally better able to slowly pressurize the vessels as the method requires.

Re: ZHE1000 - Our company purchased one several years ago. I am trying to find what looks like a white teflon bushing on all 4 legs, seems to be used as a spacer? Thanks.

This is part # PCT300 and is actually for the MaxFil device. Contact our sales or customer service department for current pricing.
