These Oil and Grease Standards are packaged in convenient, pre-measured Snip & Pour Teflon tubes.

Just snip the top of the Teflon tube and pour the contents into the sample container or extraction apparatus. Exactly 40mg of HEM is delivered to the LCS or Matrix Spike sample. Each Snip & Pour Standard contains 20mg of hexadecane and 20mg of stearic acid in 10mL of acetone. HEM contents will not adhere to the sides of the single-use tube. Inexpensive Snip & Pour tubes eliminate pipets and require no warming prior to use.
