Hold times on samples are extended to as much as 14 days with Field Sampling Kits from Environmental Express. These convenient, economical, easy-to-use kits contain 4 pre-labeled vials, reagents, certifications and instructions to sample soils for volatile compounds by EPA Method 5035 or 5035A.

Kits come with polypropylene coring tool, preweighed vials containing preservatives (either water or sodium bisulfate solution) with stir bars, vial for dry weight, and premeasured tubes of methanol. Components come in a convenient plastic carrier/rack that allows for easy handling and transfer of soil samples.

The need to weigh methanol in the field is eliminated with our premeasured Methanol Snip & Pour Teflon tubes. Immediately before sampling, snip the top off the tube and pour the contents into the vial provided.
