The EPA does not approve instrumentation or supplies, they only approve the chemical methods. This instrument is capable of running many of the approved colorimetric methods that are listed under those programs. The chart on this page lists the common methods.

Can this do multiple different samples at one time?

There is space for up to 40 samples to be set for analysis. The software is limited to no more than two different chemistries to be run at a time.

Do tkn, cyanide, phenols & ammonia need to be distilled prior to analysis?

The chemistry will work for analyzing without distillation. The purpose of distilling is to provide a clean matrix for analysis. If you are using this for environmental monitoring purposes, please consult with your regulatory body as to the necessity of distillation prior to measuring these analytes.
