This reagent is prepared in the same manner as given in the approved methods. You will use the same amount that your SOP currently specifies in doing the analysis.
How much if any NaOH is in your Sodium Phenate solution?
This is made up per SM4500-NH3 which lists the composition to be 83g phenol and 32g NaOH in 1-L of water. Refer to this method for complete preparation instructions.
