The FilterMate works like a French Coffee press. Simply bring your sample to volume in the SC475 cup, insert the filter down into the sample, and remove the detachable plunger. Sample is now ready for analysis or to be capped for storage.
The SC0407 is our 0.45µm Teflon membrane filter. SC0407 FilterMate utilizes a Teflon prefilter in addition to a 0.45µm final filter. This model is not recommended for particulate laden samples. Sold in packs of 100.

Question/Answer
Our typical digestion is 55 ml. I\'d like to use the 68 ml digestion vessels with the Filtermate. Are they compatible?
Yes--the FilterMates are specifically designed for our SC475 digestion vessels. They will not work with any other type of vessel.
Does the Filtermate come with digestion vessels or are they sold seperately?
The digestion vessels are sold separately.
