Our magnetic stirring bars are custom-designed and tested to work with our StirBase.  They are 11.5mm in diameter and 23.1mm long, so they will work in both our 50mL and 100mL digestion vessels.  The stirbar magnets are PTFE encapsulated to protect them from any corrosive acids.  These are very strong magnets. As a safety precaution stir bars should always be added to sample containers prior to placement on the StirBase.
