Instructions for use with a High Capacity Discrete Analyzer
AtNaR & NADH Reagents for minimum 300 Assays
Packs include 3.0 units of AtNaR (freeze-dried form), 2mg NADH (solid form), and 1 vial of enzyme diluent.
Storage of Dry NaR (Nitrate Reductase Enzyme)
NECi Superior Stock Nitrate Reductase (NaR) is provided freeze-dried in vials. Storage of NaR in a refrigerator or freezer is recommended. Dry NaR stored at 4 - 15°C (40 - 60°F) is stable for 6 months. NaR stored in a standard freezer is stable for 12 months. NaR stored -80°C or colder is stable for 3 years.
Reconstituting NaR (Nitrate Reductase Enzyme)
NECi prepackaged Enzyme Diluent allows you to store NaR in a freezer for multiple usage. NaR reconstituted with the Enzyme Diluent can be frozen and thawed repeatedly, as the diluent helps to stabilize NaR. The dispensed volume of the Enzyme Diluent is 1 mL. Keep on ice for best stability.
How to use the Enzyme Diluent Bulb:
Before taking the cap off the NaR vial, tap the tube on a hard surface to settle any loose contents. Empty contents of Enzyme Diluent squeeze bulb into NaR vial. Re-cap and mix by inverting several times. Allow to stand at room temperature for at least 10 minutes, with mixing at 5 and 10 minutes. The reconstituted NaR can now be used as directed in NECi Nitrate Test Kit instructions.
Storage of Reconstituted NaR:
NaR prepared using the Enzyme Diluent solution can be stored at -20°C (standard freezer) for 6 - 12 months, or refrigerated for one week.
