Auto-Titration
Environmental Express offers a variety of titrators for your applications.
Electronic burettes and acid-base titrations depend on the neutralization between an acid and a base when mixed in solution.
An end-point and equivalence point titration depends on completion of the reaction: the volume of added titrant at which the number of moles of titrant is equal to the number of moles of analyte. Redox titrations are based on a reduction-oxidation reaction between an oxidizing agent and a reducing agent. Karl Fischer titrators look at water content; volumetric around 1% and coulometric at lower levels. If you have questions about titrators, an Environmental Express Technical Specialist will be glad to assist you.

Is this instrument appropriate for handling titrations using HClO4 in acetic acid? If not, do you have a more appropriate instrument?
This instrument is not appropriate for any handling of perchloric acid. It is intended for simple titrations that do not require additional safety precautions. We do not have any equipment designed to work with the dangers of perchloric acid.
